Elf Song Handmade Whistles are made in a variety of different keys from high G down to low D.  They come in your choice of Brass or Copper and are made to order with the customer choosing the finger tube design.

Each mouthpiece is hand crafted individually by Sandy Jasper.  No two whistles are exactly the same with each having their own unique sound and characteristics.  That is not to say that there is no set standard.  Elf Song whistles are engineered to have a sweet and pure sound.  If a whistle doesn't sound or play the way Sandy insists they will, it will either be set aside or worked on until it meets that standard.  Sandy plays her whistles in the studio and on stage, they are working tools as well as works of art.  Our aim is that each whistle that leaves our workshop will have a life of it's own and bring years of joy to the people who play it and for those who have the pleasure of listening.

The handmade mouthpieces are made with copper or brass.  The fipple plug is made from black Delrin (acetate).  We used to use oak but have since found that Delrin is more consistent in sound and less likely to clog.  We use the same material in the mouthpieces of our manufactured whistles. 

Each fingertube is made to order.  We have a variety of different designs so that your whistle can your taste and personality.
